This program superimposes a brainwave over music. This is done by modifying the sound such that the sum of the left channel and right channel zeros out X times per second (E.g: 4 time per second, or 10 times per second etc).
The program takes three parameters. The first argument is the music you would like to modify. The second argument is the brainwave at the start of the song. The third argument is the brainwave at the end of the song.
Using brainwaves with music is somewhat delicate. If the music is quite involving, there might be no point in superimposing a relaxing brainwave.
There is however a second aspect to music which is that its tempo (between 60BPM and 160 BPM) produces events at brainwave rate. E.g: 120 BPM, would be 2 events per second, or a delta brainwave. Now, it is clear that we might not want to interpret/reduce the musical experience to merely low frequency beating, but there is still an interaction between the tempo and the brainwave one superimposes. Suppose, the tempo is 2Hz (120 BPM), and the brainwave we want is 6 Hz (Theta), then we know that we automatically introduce an oscillation at 4 Hz, which is a Delta frequency.
Below is a map of the interaction of music tempo and brainwave. Feel free to experiment with the border cases, or select a tempo that is perfectly appropriate for the brainwave you aim at

The program works best on songs that use the full spectral range of audio. Dense soundscapes. Ambient noise etc. My personal favorite is using delta (4-1Hz) oscillations on said music.
Because the generation of a brainwave version of your music takes quite a while (up to 10 minutes sometimes), we would like to contact you back as soon as the brainwave has been generated. This requires us to have a valid email address. Login or register.
